Role overview:

Based in Winnersh and reporting directly to the Marketing Director, UKI & Benelux, the role is Enterprise Marketing Manager, supporting the named account sales teams. The role provides support for achievement of the business objectives by implementing marketing campaigns/activities that generate market awareness, preference & sales pipeline for Qlik solutions. The Manager is responsible for planning, managing and executing Qlik campaigns to generate and nurture pipeline – responses, leads and opportunities, in line with global/EMEA field marketing and UK business objectives. The individual will be an experienced enterprise business development marketer- a field marketing expert from a BI/enterprise software background.   

This role will work as part of the UKI Marketing team. We are seeking a specialist in key account, value-based enterprise marketing with proven experience in the UKI B2B enterprise sector. 

This role has one direct report- Enterprise Campaigns Manager.



Role key deliverables and responsibilities:

• Work pro-actively with the UK Named Sales leadership and individual Named Account Managers to both implement global campaigns as well as build and execute activities aligned to the UK sales strategy and pipeline requirements
• Build and execute go to market plan to generate sales pipeline, create market awareness and build customer loyalty. Campaigns will target existing customers for ‚expand‘ opportunities as well as whitespace net new prospects.
• Demand generation activities include key account activities, Qlik events, 3rd party events, SI/partner comarketing activities, campaigns, telemarketing, Marketo campaigns, social media activities, etc • For demand generation activities, directly own and execute audience generation, campaign/event management and coordinate all Qlik/external resources required
• Work collaboratively with the Qlik Global and EMEA marketing teams to contribute to and execute global integrated marketing campaigns – including content syndication, nurture campaigns, webinars, events, social media campaigns, etc.
• Proactively management campaign follow-ups and success
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, vendors and contractors for the development and production of Qlik events, third party event attendance and Qlik campaigns.
• Track and report on activity success and progress of responses through to qualified pipeline opportunities and closed won sales, using Qlik applications
• Demonstrate knowledge of BI market, Qlik solutions; current and upcoming industry standards and trends; competitor strategies; customer needs
• Demonstrate knowledge of marketing to the enterprise sectors – key account and value-based marketing
• Manage marketing budgets to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, whilst meeting quality standards, ROI and pipeline goals
• Timely management and population of relevant systems – including SFDC for lead and opportunity tracking and for campaign management, Marketo for campaign execution and Qlik’s own applications for campaign planning and tracking
• Engage with the sales teams and SI/partners to facilitate customer references (for PR plan and Customer Reference Programme)
• Regular reporting and updates as required

Role skills, knowledge and qualifications:

• Previous Marketing campaign role in enterprise software company
• Five or more years of experience in pipeline lead generation marketing in large Enterprise accounts • Key Account Marketing experience
• Previous people management experience
• Understanding of campaign management, target marketing and sales process
• Good SI marketing experience
• Social media skills and experience • Excellent written and verbal communications
• Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
• Resourcefulness in problem-solving
• Good creativity skills
