About the role
You will be part of the team working on our network with regards to network connectivity, network security, telephony and video conferencing and WAN/VPN connectivity. You will also be part of the team working with keeping our servers fully patched and monitoring the servers proactively.
•Manage Cisco routing, switching, and WAN technologies
•Manage Check Point firewalls and VPN connectivity
•Be part of the team handling network security
•Improving processes, procedures, and scalability through network automation
•Ability to analyze infrastructure usage and plan for growth across network elements (physical and virtual)
•Upgrading existing elements to new patch levels
•Defining the future infrastructure pieces for new data centers
•Troubleshooting complex interactions across multiple networks
•Evaluate new routing, switching, wireless, and WAN technologies
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate field
•6+ years of work experience working with Cisco equipment
•4+ years of experience with network capacity planning, network security principles and general network management best practices. Extra beneficial if you have experience working with telco’s in different countries
•Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g BGP, OSPF, STP, QoS, NetFlow, OpenFlow, MPLS, SIP)
•Knowledge of SDWAN, WAN Optimization, Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, Google)
•Experience with wireless technologies including Aerohive
•Knowledge of Windows server 2008-2012
•Knowledge of Active Directory
•Experience in any of the following would be considered a significant benefit: QlikView, IPv6, Next generation firewalls, NAC, VMWare, “cloud computing”, monitoring,
•Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written
•Experience with Python and Ruby scripting
